In November 2005, BlueScope Steel invested US$105 million for a world-class flat steel metallic coating and painting facility in Phu My 1 Industrial Zone, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province. The facility includes a 125,000 tonnes per annum metallic coating line, 50,000 tonnes per annum paint line and a 15,000 tonnes per annum combination slitting line. Today, NS BlueScope has 4 offices and 3 factories across Vietnam.
